Octavio Scholz is a photographer and videographer based in Ericeira, Portugal.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, his work is naturally rooted in the big city life, where he was mostly expressing his vision through skateboarding, a practice that appropriates urban spaces, transforming the city's landscape into a place for expression and freedom. So the first years of his career were basically dedicated to work in the skateboard industry, splitting his time between Brazil and California (USA).
After moving to Ericeira in 2018, he found a deeper connection to nature and, of course, surfing. This move, from the raw energy of the streets, to a paradise with different landscapes, shapes and colors, awakened in him an urge to explore this diversity.
With 14 years of experience, he shoots mainly action sports, commercial and corporate content for several companies, events, real estate and also portraits.
